YUGOSLAVIA
1. The Government of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia hereby expresses its readiness to consistently comply with the Declaration on the protection of All Persons from Being Subjected to Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading treatment or Punishment (General Assembly resolution 3542 (XXX), annex).
2. It declares, at the same time, that, on the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Federal Criminal Law and the Law on Criminal Procedure and the laws of the Republic relating to the enforcement of Criminal Sanctions, strict compliance with the provision of the said declaration has been assured.
