Egypt: Revised proposal on Trade Union rights (E/CN.4/AC.14/Add.4, Section X, and E/CN.4/547)
The States parties to this Covenant recognize the right of everyone to join local, national and international trade unions, and to exercise trade union rights without hindrance. Recourse may be had to strikes when attempts at conciliation have been exhausted, and provided the security of the State and the vital interests of the nation are not affected.
