Administrative and financial, implications of the draft resolution contained in document E/CN.4/L.1408
Statement submitted by the Secretary-General in accordance
with rule 28 of the rules of procedure of the functional
commissions of the Economic and Social Council
1. In operative paragraph 1 of draft resolution E/CN.4/L.1408, the Commission would authorize the Chairman of the Sub-Commission to appoint a working group of five members to meet for not more than five working days prior to the thirty-first dessica of the Sub-Commission.
2. For the purpose of determining the financial implications, it has been noted that the travel expenses of the members concerned would be covered under the normal provisions for the attendance of members a the Sub-Commission session.
3. On the above assumptions, the relevant coats are estimated as follows:
