DRAFT CONVENTION ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN
Cuba: Amendment to the Draft Convention on the elimination
of all forms of discrimination against women (E/CN.6/591 and.1)
Article 5; Add the following paragraph
"2. Suitable family education which should include a proper understanding of
motherhood as a social function and the recognition of the common roles of men and women in bearing responsibility for children should figure prominently in plans drawn up for this purpose."
