DRAFT CONVENTION ON THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN
German Democratic Republic: amendment to the draft Convention on the elimination of all forma of discrimination against women (E/CN.6/591 and Add.1)
Preamble
Add the following as paragraph 7 of the preamble:
"Affirming that the strengthening of international peace and security, friendly co-operation of all States irrespective of their social and economic systems, effective disarmament, the elimination of colonialism and racists in all forms, and the implementation of the right to self-determination are indispensable prerequisite® for the safeguarding of the Fundamental human rights including those of womens;"
