At its ... meeting, on ... April 1997 the Commission on Human Rights,
reaffirming its resolution 1996/27 of 19 April 1996 on the human rights of
persons with disabilities, in particular the requests to the SecretaryGeneral
contained therein, noted the report of the Special Rapporteur on disability of
the Commission for Social Development (A/52/56, annex) and decided to resume
consideration of this question at its fiftyfourth
session and to invite the
Special Rapporteur on disability to be present on that occasion.
