LIMITED A/C.3/45/L.62 20 November 1990 ENGLISH ORIGINAL: SPANISH Forty-fifth session THIRD COMMITTEE Agenda item 12 REPORT OF THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL Finland and Mexico; draft decision Adoption of an international convention on the protection of the rights of all migrant workers and members of their families The General Assembly decides, with respect to article 72 of the Draft International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families, 1/ that: (a) In paragraph 8, the brackets around the following text should be removed: "The members of the Committee shall receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as the General Assembly may decide." (b) In the same paragraph/ the following text should be deleted: "[States Parties shall be responsible for: (a) The expenses of the members of the Committee while they are performing Committee duties; and (b) Expenses incurred in connection with the holding of meetings of States Parties and of the Committee, including reimbursement to the United Nations for any expenses, such as the cost of staff and facilities, incurred by the United Nations pursuant to paragraph 7 of this article.]" 1/ A/C.3/45/1. 90-31533 2761Z (E)
